The Panasonic SDR-H60 is a 60GB Hard Disk Drive Camcorder that enables further storage to an additional SD/SDHC card. With a stunning 50x optical zoom power, bring with you the power to take dramatic close-ups or get remarkable shots of even distant subjects. While the slightest hand shake can have a huge effect on long-distance zoom shots, the Panasonic SDR-H60 makes sure there are none with Advanced Optical Image Stabilisation. Using gyrosensors to detect hand shake, the lens is able to shift to compensate and suppress the chances of blurring, with no image quality lost.

Holding as much data as 43 DVD discs, the Panasonic SDR-H60 gives you all the time and space to shoot on its 60GB hard disk with continuous recording up to 54 hours (in LP mode). This hard disk drive camcorder has a USB Host function, which lets you connect directly to a DVD burner (sold separately) via a USB cable. You can then copy recordings from the hard disk to a DVD disc by simply pressing a button. A 2.7-inch Wide LCD gives all the clarity and colour for soothing view of your videos and still images. Video is recorded in the high compression and high quality MPEG2 format.

Panasonic’s Anti-Shock Shield helps protect recorded video data from damage due to jolts and impact. The Drop Detect function senses if the camera is falling and moves the head away from the hard disk. The Floating Structure protects the hard disk should the camera fall or be dropped. The buffer memory automatically backs up data while the camera is falling.
